Everything you need to know about Oakden, our products, and how we protect your data.
Oakden is a local-first AI platform for home and business. We build AI systems that run on dedicated hardware in your space — not on cloud servers. The result is faster, more private, and fully under your control.
Local-first means your AI runs on physical hardware you own or lease, typically a small dedicated node in your home or office. Your data stays on that device. Cloud is available as an optional fallback, never as the default.
Homeowners who want smarter home management, builders and contractors who need AI-powered project tools, and small businesses looking for private, capable AI without the cloud dependency.
We currently serve Ontario, Canada, with hardware deployments in the Greater Toronto Area and Muskoka region. We’re actively expanding to other Canadian provinces and will announce US availability in the future.
Visit our setup page at oakden.ca/setup to begin the onboarding process, or reach out through our contact page. Every deployment starts with a conversation to understand your needs.
Oakden Property is an AI-powered home health diagnostic tool. It scores your home from 0 to 100 based on the condition of its major systems — roof, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, foundation, and more. It helps you catch issues before they become expensive problems.
ProAI Builder is an AI construction management platform built for general contractors and builders. It handles estimating, scheduling, document intelligence, supplier management, and real-time project tracking — all powered by AI.
NUThaus is an AI-powered local-first smart home system. It integrates with your existing devices and sensors, adds intelligence on top, and runs entirely on your local network. No cloud required for core functions.
Yes. All Oakden products share a common core. Data flows between them when you choose to connect them — for example, Oakden Property health data can inform ProAI Builder renovation estimates, or NUThaus sensor data can feed into Oakden Property diagnostics.
For home users, we provide a pre-configured Oakden Node — a small, quiet device that sits in your home and runs your AI locally. Business users can run Oakden on existing hardware that meets our minimum specifications.
Locally on your hardware. By default, nothing is stored on our servers. If you opt into cloud backup or sync features, that data is encrypted end-to-end and stored with zero-knowledge architecture — we cannot read it.
Yes. All data is encrypted with 256-bit AES encryption at rest and in transit. The encryption keys are generated on your device and never leave it.
Never. Period. We do not sell, share, rent, or monetize your data in any way. Our business model is based on hardware and service deployments, not data harvesting.
When cloud AI is used as a fallback (for example, if a request exceeds local model capabilities), we use zero-retention API providers. Nothing from those calls is stored by us or the provider. You can also disable cloud fallback entirely.
Oakden offers flexible deployment packages from a free strategy session to full enterprise deployments. Visit our pricing page at oakden.ca/pricing for the complete breakdown.
Oakden Property offers a free tier for basic home health checks. ProAI Builder offers a trial period for qualified builders. Contact us to discuss which product fits your needs.
