Oakden is a local-first AI platform built for homeowners, contractors, and businesses who want powerful technology without sacrificing privacy or control. We believe your data should stay yours, your AI should run on your hardware when possible, and the tools you rely on should work even when the internet does not.
What We Build
Oakden develops a suite of connected products, each designed to solve real problems in specific industries:
- Oakden Property — An AI-powered home diagnostic tool that helps homeowners identify issues, understand severity, and find the right trade professional. Think of it as a health score for your house.
- ProAI Builder — A full construction management platform for general contractors, custom home builders, and renovators. It handles projects, daily logs, budgets, invoicing, scheduling, and AI-powered document intelligence.
- NUThaus — A smart home platform that runs locally, integrating your home systems without requiring cloud services or monthly subscriptions.
- Oakden Console — A unified AI interface that ties everything together: chat, dashboards, app generation, and encrypted data management.
Our Philosophy
Every Oakden product is built on three principles:
- Local-First — AI models run on your hardware whenever possible. Cloud is a fallback, not the default. This means faster responses, lower costs, and complete privacy.
- Encryption by Default — All data is encrypted at rest and in transit using 256-bit AES. We never sell or share your information. Period.
- Canadian-Built — Oakden is a Canadian company. We follow Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA, CASL) and build products that respect the expectations of Canadian consumers and businesses.
How It All Connects
Each Oakden product works independently, but they also connect through a shared intelligence layer. A home scored by Oakden Property can feed renovation projects into ProAI Builder. A builder using ProAI can offer Oakden Property diagnostics to their clients. Smart home data from NUThaus can inform property health assessments.
This is not a walled garden. Every product supports data export, open protocols, and standard formats. You are never locked in.
